Two players, one keyboard, or a four-round World Cup.
On a phone: slide a thumb along the strip under the court and your slime walks to it — it stops where your thumb is, so it never overshoots. The grey pad on the right is for your other thumb: tap JUMP, hold GRAB (in the games that have one), and press SHOOT in basketball. The pad is a stick too: push up to jump, hold down to grab, and flick up from a grab to jump with the ball still held.
Slime Soccer takes the volleyball physics, swaps the net for two goals and adds a bit of national pride. Pick your country, pick your opponent's, and try to get a ball past a blob that occupies most of the goalmouth just by standing there.
The original World Cup Slime Soccer was one of the most-played of the early-2000s slime games, and one of the first to disappear when browsers stopped running Java applets. This version is a direct port of that Java code — same ball weight, same jump height, same slightly unfair goalkeeping — running natively in your browser with nothing to install.
Score more goals than your opponent before time runs out. The ball bounces off everything, including the crossbar, so a shot that looks hopeless often isn't. Heading is legal. Standing in your own goal is legal too, though it doesn't make you popular. Two players share a keyboard, or take a nation through the four-round World Cup.
Tip: you can't tackle, so the whole game is about winning the ball in the air. Time your jump so the ball comes down on your side of the slime.
Prefer a net to a goal? Slime Volleyball is where it all began. Want to shoot hoops instead? Slime Basketball is the same slimes with a taller target.
